I never felt compelled to enter the world of the 'short story', either by way of exploration of other writers' work or by exploring my own capacity for writing short stories, so I decided to write one!!

 

I have experimented by writing two versions of the same story and, therefore, I have afforded it two titles: 'Of Relative Value' & 'The Selfie'. They have very much the same theme but with two very different endings, thus aiming the story potentially at two very different markets. Do take a look, and - as they say in American restaurants - enjoy!
